My position as a circadian biology educator is clear.

Circadian biology is the foundation of human health because it regulates every aspect of our physiology, from cellular processes to organ function. Therefore, any health change must begin with it as the priority. From that point forward, you can focus on other aspects of health through a circadian lens.

I often say that circadian biology is the bedrock of human health.

This article will go into great detail on why that is the case.

Every cell, protein, enzyme, tissue, steroid hormone, and organ is fundamentally controlled by circadian mechanisms.

At the cellular level, circadian rhythms regulate gene expression, ensuring that specific proteins are synthesized at times when they are most needed. This temporal regulation is crucial for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function.
