I just finished a thread on the dangers of ultra-pasteurization and how it relates to dairy. While I was writing it, this spontaneously came to my mind:
A food which has been stripped of all its nutrition due to ultra-processing methods is a poison which contributes to chronic disease over time
I mean just fucking think about it.
I’ve already shared a lot of the history, culture and science behind why we as a society demonize raw dairy. Most people either believe that dairy is inherently toxic or that the conventional processing methods used to make it are infallible.
It’s absurd that we’ve come to this point.
If you take a complete food which has been consumed and used in various ways for thousands of years and destroy it through conventional means, what are you left with?
A poison which robs you of nutritional reserves and life force.
In the same way refined vegetable oil causes endothelial dysfunction and chronic disease over time and with routine consumption, so does ultra-pasteurized dairy.
Shift Your Perspective Towards This
Nutrient density is the foundation of nutrition.
Without the adequate nutrients, minerals, electrolytes and other co-factors.. your health is done for because nutrient deficiency has an incredibly damaging impact on mind, body and spirit.
Shift your focus towards foods which are dense in nutrients.
Pasture raised eggs
Grass-finished meat
Bone broth
Shellfish, oysters, bivalves
Raw/VAT pasteurized A2 dairy
Fruit & raw honey
Most of us, deep down, know the difference between a nutrient dense food and one that is devoid of nutrients, but here’s what isn’t well-known amongst the masses:
Bioavailability
Correct preparation methods to maximize nutrient & vitamin availability
Synergistic nutrient combinations (fat soluble vitamins being a great example)
Bio-individuality (what foods work best for you)
These are the finer things a lot of people don’t have time to do research on or are even aware of in the first place.
So my message to you is simple:
Focus on choosing nutrient dense options most of the time.
Enjoy yourself occasionally, yet make sure 85-90% of your diet is dialed in.
Much love,
Zaid
would you say its better to eat carbs on waking (since ur most insulin sensitive) & then before bed ( to top up liver glycogen), n then spread protein & fat through the day??
