In my experience, everyone I've met who's stuck with glasses/contacts over the long term has far greater deterioration over that term. Seem to just weaken the muscles, the equivalent of a wheelchair for the legs when all you needed to do was walk more.

Thanks for the write up Zaid. I’ve taken your advice about early morning exposure to sunlight as well as observing sunsets. It’s amazing how it alters mood in a positive way as well as prepares the body for the day and retiring at night. I rarely use sunglasses anymore. And I can honestly say my vision has improved. At 60, I only use 1.5 “readers” to prevent squinting. And my vision test shows I remain at 20/10. Maybe it’s genetics, but I do think the eyes deserve as much attention as the biceps. Keep up the great work!

what type of lights would you recommend to use during the day whilst indoors?? was thinking of a SAD light plus RLT

Great one Sir. What an awesome compilation. The field of Ophthalmology definitely needs a revolution like the one we saw in Dentistry with Biological and Holistic Dentistry. But equally, the Patient needs to wake-up !!
